Rooted Nature School is a small, parent-participation nature program for children ages 0–12 and the grown-ups who join them — taking shape in a Muskegon-area nature preserve. When it opens, the interest list will be the first to know.

Each gathering is shaped by the season — what's blooming, what's in the water, who shows up under a log. There is opening circle, a guided activity, free exploration within boundaries, and a quiet regroup before we go home. The pace is unhurried on purpose.

We meet at a Muskegon-area nature preserve. The exact meeting point is shared with registered families to keep the group small and the land respected.
Weather
We meet in most weather, dressed for it. We adjust scheduling for storms or unsafe conditions and let families know early.
Capacity
Spots will be intentionally limited so the same small group meets for the whole season. Headcounts are set when registration opens.

- No. Rooted Nature School is parent-participation by design. A grown-up stays with each child for the full session, every week. The program is built around having you there.
- Children ages 0 to 12. The group is mixed-age on purpose — younger children learn from older ones, and older children grow into mentors. Siblings stay together.
- Yes — siblings are encouraged to come together, and there will be a sibling rate when tuition is published. Mixed-age groups are part of how the program works.
